Steel Match

Texas Steel Competition, is  an independent steel club run by Paul Delmas. Steel matches are held the second and fourth Saturday of every month at the Cedar Ridge Range. The matches consist of five all-steel stages, uniquely designed to require spontaneous solving of the most expeditious plan to engage the targets in the shortest period of time. Start times vary...please check the home page. The following image illustrates only some of the types of targets the shooter may be faced with. Other targets include a "Christmas Tree", and the TSC "Star". More targets are being developed and manufactured by the club all the time. No paper targets or walls are ever used. Otherwise, always expect anything.

Firearms must shoot in their own division and adhere to that division's rules. All range and club safety rules must be followed. All regular steel matches are only $15 plus $10 for an extra firearm. There are various discounts for the volunteer "setup crew" and all shooters are invited to follow-up with a great lunch at "The Antler Restaurant" that is friendly to shooters and has great service staff and food. Come join us for a fun shoot! Check other pages on this website for additional requirements and rules.
