Why TSC?

Gun Divisions and Special Classifications

TSC rules are closely related to USPSA Steel Challenge rules. However, since TSC is a private, non-affiliated club, TSC rules will supersede all other rules where differences exist. The TSC Match Director will have final say in all cases and situations. All shooters compete for overall placement in the match, except for Rimfire competitors shooting in the Center Fire Pistol matches. In that case the Rimfire shooters will only compete against the other Rimfire Shooters. Note: Some of the rules are in the process of being changed or amended. We will get the latest rules posted as soon as possible.

While the TSC is a privately owned, not affiliated with the following shooting organizations, our match and safety rules are the same or similar to the rules set down by the USPSA and Steel Challenge rulebooks. The TSC makes no claims of a relationship or agreement with any of these organizations. However, rather than writing a 4th set of rules to keep up, we have adopted the following "well thought-out" rules as a guideline to to help insure the safety and understanding of our TSC matches.  However, where there are differences between TSC matches and some items are omitted entirely, the final word shall be stated on the stage design sheets and interpreted by our match director. The match director may change any and all rules or stage design instructions at anytime (with the exception of standard safety or range owner rules), as long as all participants are notified of the changes. It is the shooter's responsibility to review the stage design sheets and pre-match meetings. Any questions or comments must be stated during the meeting to the match director or the range officer prior to shooting.

(The fine print)

Changes may be made at anytime without notice. In the case of differences, additions or omissions, the Match Director shall have the final decision. Texas Steel Competition is not affiliated with any other club or organization.
